Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Resort
Meal Plan= Lunch, Dinner
After an early morning breakfast, you will head from the lush highlands to the west to the Great Rift Valley and the small but lovely Lake Baringo. We will stop at Thomson falls for lunch. The drive exhibits some of the beautiful landscapes of Kenya. Baringo and Naivasha are the only freshwater shallows in the Kenyan Rift; the large freshwater body is a shelter for more than 400 bird species that give the area its main attraction. The lake is a quiet and solitary oasis embedded in the abrupt and arid land that foresees the northern deserts. Baringo and Bogoria were only visited by caravans of slaves. The lake was first described by Scottish explorer Joseph Thomson in 1883.
