Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park is located in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning.Drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arriving with a short game drive at booked camp or Lodge check in, have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive at the park later.

Day 2Explore Amboseli National Park

This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. A visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another game drive. Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribesmen. Masai warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.

Day 3Amboseli to Nairobi

Pre-breakfast game drive, return to the campsite for a full breakfast. Check out and head for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.
